Crypto goes in. A card comes out.

You deposit crypto-assets, we credit a balance in electronic money, and you pay with a virtual card accepted anywhere the network is. Three issuing regions to choose from: euro on a European BIN, dollar on a US BIN, Hong Kong dollar on a Hong Kong BIN.

01 The cards

Three issuing regions, one balance.

A BuyVirtualCards account carries a single balance. You decide, card by card, whether it settles in euro, dollar or Hong Kong dollar — conversion happens at the moment of payment, at the interbank rate plus our published margin.

EUR

European BIN

Issued in the European Economic Area. SEPA-compatible, 3-D Secure v2, accepted by merchants that reject out-of-region BINs.

USD

US BIN

Issued in the United States. For services billed in dollars and platforms that require a domestic US card.

HKD

Hong Kong BIN

Issued in Hong Kong. For Asian platforms that reject European and US cards, and for services billed in Hong Kong dollars.

02 Uses

Where a virtual card makes a difference.

These are not textbook cases. They are the reasons people open an account with us, in the order they come up.

01

Ad networks

One card per advertising account. If a network suspends a payment method, the other campaigns keep running. And the card's monthly limit bounds the spend better than a reminder in a calendar.

Google Ads · Meta · TikTok · LinkedIn · X · Reddit

02

Software subscriptions

One subscription, one card. The day you want it to stop, you freeze the card: the next charge is declined, with no cancellation form and no chasing.

Adobe · Figma · Notion · Slack · GitHub · OpenAI

03

One-off purchases

A single-use card for one payment, destroyed straight afterwards. The merchant never gets a reusable number — useful on a site you don't know.

04

Hosting and infrastructure

Usage-based billing, often in dollars, and sometimes declined for foreign cards. The US BIN settles the second problem; the per-card limit contains the first, the month a configuration goes wrong.

AWS · Google Cloud · Hetzner · OVH · Cloudflare · Vercel

05

Marketplaces

Paying without exposing your main bank card. If the merchant is breached one day, what leaks is a number you delete in one click.

Amazon · eBay · Etsy · AliExpress · Shopify

06

Free trials

The trial that asks for a card "for verification" and turns into a subscription after thirty days. A single-use card ends that conversation.

Ad networks are demanding. Google Ads, Meta and TikTok accept virtual cards, but an account will sometimes refuse a prepaid BIN, with no reason displayed and no recourse. Many also require the card's country to match the account's billing country: that is where the choice between a European, US and Hong Kong BIN genuinely matters. Test with a small top-up before putting a budget behind a card.

03 How it works

Four steps, nothing more.

The whole journey, from signup to first payment, usually takes under fifteen minutes — including on-chain confirmation.

In detail

Open an account

Email address and password — that's it. No identity verification, no documents required. Your card is generated as soon as you top up.

Top up with crypto

Pick an amount from $50 and a network. We generate an invoice with a dedicated address and a rate locked for the payment window. You send, the chain confirms, the balance is credited.

Issue a card

Euro or dollar, in one click. Number, expiry date and security code are available immediately in your account, copyable field by field.

Pay

Online, in store through your phone wallet, or on recurring subscriptions. Every authorisation appears in the ledger with the merchant name, the original amount and any conversion applied.

04 Security & compliance

Being boring is a virtue here.

We do not hold your crypto-assets. A top-up is converted on receipt: your balance is electronic money, safeguarded at the issuing institution, never exposed to the market.

Our security model
01

Safeguarded funds

Customer balances are held in segregated accounts at the issuer, separate from our own funds.

02

No market exposure

Converted immediately on receipt. A drop in bitcoin after your top-up does not touch your balance.

03

3-D Secure v2

Strong authentication on every online payment that requires it. We send you a code by email, to be entered within the time allowed — never by SMS, which SIM swapping makes an unsafe factor.

04

Instant freeze

Freeze and unfreeze a card from the dashboard. Immediate effect on authorisations, no support ticket needed.

05 Pricing

One number. No surprises.

Network fees (gas, miner fees) are paid by you to the chain when you send, and never form part of our commission. We do not mark them up.

Top-up commission

1.5%

Charged once, at the moment the top-up is credited. It is our only revenue: we have nothing else to sell you.

  • Declined payment $0

06 Supported networks

Eleven networks, one balance.

Choosing a network mainly changes two things: confirmation time and transfer cost. For a stablecoin, TRC-20 is almost always the best cost-to-speed ratio.

All the answers

Below that threshold, network fees and processing costs represent such a large share of the amount that the operation loses its point for you. Rather than a flat fee that would eat the top-up, we set a readable floor.

No. They are converted on receipt. There is no BuyVirtualCards wallet holding customer assets — so no treasure to steal. That is a deliberate architectural choice.

Sometimes recoverable, never guaranteed. If the funds landed on an address whose key we hold on a compatible chain, manual recovery is possible: several working days and a $25 fee, charged only on success. If the address does not exist on that network, the funds are permanently lost. Neither we nor anyone else can return them: that is a property of blockchains, not a commercial policy.

No, and nobody can. A card bears the name of the institution that issues it; a third party cannot issue in the name of a bank it does not act for. What you can choose is the issuing region: a European, US or Hong Kong BIN. That is the parameter that determines merchant acceptance, and it is almost always the real need behind the question. A site offering to "generate a Revolut card" or "a Bank of America card" is a scam.

From fifteen seconds on Solana to an hour on Bitcoin when the network is busy. The credit is immediate once the required confirmations are reached.
