01 The cards

You choose an issuing region. Not a bank.

What determines whether a merchant accepts a card is its BIN — the first six to eight digits, which identify the network, the country and the product type. We let you choose between a European BIN, a US BIN and a Hong Kong BIN, because that is the only lever that genuinely changes anything for you.

BuyVirtualCards Hong Kong Dollar

Issued in Hong Kong. Useful for Asian merchants and platforms that reject European or US cards, and for services billed in HKD. Worth noting: the Hong Kong dollar is pegged to the US dollar within a narrow band, so the value tracks that of a dollar card closely — what changes is the issuing region, not purchasing power.

Choosing a BIN is not choosing a bank. No provider can issue a card in the name of an institution it does not act for. If a service offers to "generate" a card branded as a well-known bank, it is lying about what it sells — and you pay up front, in crypto, with no recourse.

03 Uses

Where a virtual card makes a difference.

These are not textbook cases. They are the reasons people open an account with us, in the order they come up.

01

Ad networks

One card per advertising account. If a network suspends a payment method, the other campaigns keep running. And the card's monthly limit bounds the spend better than a reminder in a calendar.

Google Ads · Meta · TikTok · LinkedIn · X · Reddit

02

Software subscriptions

One subscription, one card. The day you want it to stop, you freeze the card: the next charge is declined, with no cancellation form and no chasing.

Adobe · Figma · Notion · Slack · GitHub · OpenAI

03

One-off purchases

A single-use card for one payment, destroyed straight afterwards. The merchant never gets a reusable number — useful on a site you don't know.

04

Hosting and infrastructure

Usage-based billing, often in dollars, and sometimes declined for foreign cards. The US BIN settles the second problem; the per-card limit contains the first, the month a configuration goes wrong.

AWS · Google Cloud · Hetzner · OVH · Cloudflare · Vercel

05

Marketplaces

Paying without exposing your main bank card. If the merchant is breached one day, what leaks is a number you delete in one click.

Amazon · eBay · Etsy · AliExpress · Shopify

06

Free trials

The trial that asks for a card "for verification" and turns into a subscription after thirty days. A single-use card ends that conversation.

Ad networks are demanding. Google Ads, Meta and TikTok accept virtual cards, but an account will sometimes refuse a prepaid BIN, with no reason displayed and no recourse. Many also require the card's country to match the account's billing country: that is where the choice between a European, US and Hong Kong BIN genuinely matters. Test with a small top-up before putting a budget behind a card.

04 What the card does

01

Online payments

Anywhere the network is accepted. Number, expiry and security code visible in your account, copyable field by field.

02

Contactless

Add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay and pay in store with your phone. The terminal cannot tell the difference.

03

Subscriptions

Recurring charges work. You can isolate one subscription on a dedicated card and freeze it the day you want it to stop.

04

Single-use cards

Create a card for one purchase and destroy it afterwards. The merchant never gets a reusable number.

05

Per-card limits

Set a monthly limit card by card. Beyond it the authorisation is declined without exposing the rest of your balance.

06

Instant freeze

One switch, immediate effect on authorisations. Reversible as often as you need.

05 What the card does not do

The limits, stated up front.

Better to read this here than discover it at a payment terminal.

Use case Status Why
ATM withdrawal No We issue virtual cards only, and a virtual card cannot withdraw cash. Some contactless ATMs accept a phone wallet, but that depends on the machine and we cannot guarantee anything there.
Hotel or rental deposit Varies Many businesses require a deferred-debit or credit card. A prepaid card is often refused as a guarantee.
Overdraft Not possible The balance is prepaid. An authorisation above the available balance is declined — that is the whole principle of the product.
Transfer to a bank account Available To an account in your own name only.
Joint account or card for someone else Not possible A card is personal. The holder must be the verified account owner. That is an obligation, not a commercial choice.
Anonymous use Not possible Customer identification is required before issuance. No regulated issuer avoids it, wherever it is established.

Euro, dollar, Hong Kong dollar.

Nothing forces a choice: one account can carry all three cards, funded from the same balance.
